Frequently asked questions

Do you need to book the attractions in Barcelona?

Yes. The Sagrada Família and Park Güell only sell timed tickets, which often sell out days ahead, especially in summer. Book Casa Batlló too if you want to see inside.

How much money do you need per day in Barcelona?

Excluding the flight and accommodation, plan on €50-75 a day. Gaudí's sights are expensive to get into (the Sagrada Família is about €26), while lunch from the menú del día is cheap.

What documents do I need?

Spain is in the Schengen area. Albanian citizens with a biometric passport enter without a visa, for stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months after your return date. Biometric data is recorded at the border (the EES system), and the ETIAS online authorisation is expected to become mandatory: check before you leave whether it has come into force.

When are tickets cheapest?

Usually from November to March, outside holidays and long weekends, and for midweek departures. The prices on this page are checked every 3 hours, and the best deals are posted on our Telegram channel.
